As part of our Lifetime Skills offer, here at Stockton Riverside College we are looking to remove as many obstacles as possible to ensure more people, regardless of age, background or financial situation, can get the skills they need to progress in employment.

Courses have been specially selected for adults to improve their job prospects, gain the skills they need and help to boost our local economy.

If you are 19 or over and do not already have a level 3 qualification or higher, you can access a free level 3 qualification.

If you already have a level 3 qualification or higher, but you earn below the National Living Wage annually (£18,525 from April 2022) or are unemployed, you can also access these qualifications for free. This is regardless of any qualifications you already have.

In some areas there may be a slightly different low wage threshold. Check with your local training provider to find out the low wage threshold in your area.

Some of these qualifications are available to study online or part-time.

• NCFE CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health
• NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)
• NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support
• NCFE CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Health and Social Care
• CACHE Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care

Distance Learning Courses Available:

• Level 3 in Mental Health
• Level 3 in End of Life Care
• Level 3 in Autism
• Level 3 in Dementia Care

Entry Requirement:
