How can we help?

How can we help?

Here at Stockton Riverside College, we understand that students may need a helping hand financially when studying, letting you focus on your studies.

At Stockton Riverside we offer a wide range of services designed to help you overcome any financial barriers.

  • If you are currently receiving free school meals, this will continue at college if financial situation is the same. There are currently three cafes located within the college campus catering for a range of dietary requirements.
  • You may be able to receive support with Kit, Uniform, data costs and the Loaning of a Laptop depending on your personal circumstances.
  • Care to Learn provides financial support to parents 16 - 19 with the costs of childcare at the start of their course to ensure they are able to continue in education. If 20+ the college may be able to support with costs of childcare dependent on your personal circumstances.
  • All students can access free bus travel to and from college during term times. Please note there is a £5 administration charge per term for students travelling by bus.

All students must complete a bursary application form before they can be considered for any of the above support.
