My role is to help promote, recruit and grow apprenticeships. Business Development Co-ordinator
My role is to develop links with businesses within the Tees Valley area to promote, recruit and grow apprenticeships both 16-18 and 19+ which can include existing staff already in employment. I am actively involved in engaging with employers to discuss their staffing resource requirements and training needs.
I provide a suitable matching/screening process and shortlist suitable candidates for interview. I have responsibility for managing a number of vocational areas including; Health & Social Care, Business Administration, Children’s & Young Peoples Services, Management, Science Technician and Facilities Management.

Partnerships & Funding Coordinator
I have worked in Work Based Learning since 2003 in various roles including; a Tutor, Assessor, IQA and Quality Assurance Manager. I joined Stockton Riverside College in February 2018 and my role is to coordinate and monitor the performance of the College’s subcontracted provision, ensuring that partners provide high quality training and complement the College’s curriculum offer. My role also includes coordinating and ensuring the completion of tenders for additional sources of funding to the College as well as mandatory applications that the College must complete such as the Register of Training Organisations (RoTO) and Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP).

With more than half a century of experience in an ever- changing sector I am still driven, passionate and enthusiastic about leading and supporting management, delivery and support staff in the provision of quality training. I have a passion for continued personal improvement and ongoing learning which in turn enables me to provide support to develop others.
Experience in industry, Further Education, Private Training Provision, Employability, Consultancy and Quality Assurance has helped me to continually develop skills, knowledge and behaviours to ensure I continue to provide an effective level of service.
