Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector specific skills and fast-track to an interview with an employer. Sectors include digital, construction and clean energy and HGV driving.

These courses are available to anybody living within the Tees Valley and have been introduced by the Government as part of its Lifetime Skills Guarantee, helping everyone gain skills for life.

Sitting alongside a vast many other locally-available adult education initiatives, such as Teesworks Skills Academy and bespoke employer-led skills programmes, which were established by Mayor Houchen, Skills Bootcamps also help give local people the expertise they need to take advantage of the jobs and opportunities being created in Tees Valley.
