Our Prince’s Trust Achieve students were put through their paces by local and regional employers as they took part in some mock interviews.

Organised by Susan Willis from the Department of Work and Pensions. The day was a huge success with our Prince's Trust Achieve students participating in mock interviews as part of their career planning unit.

On the Prince’s Trust Achieve Programme students aged 14-19 complete units to work on and improve skills in personal development and employability. The Achieve Programme also focuses on improving skills in enterprise, digital skills, and confidence.

The students were put through their paces in real-style interviews with real employers, the student's then given feedback on what they did well and what areas they needed to improve in the future.

Thank you to the employers were set the difficult task of who they would give the jobs to. The feedback from the students was very positive with many saying they now feel prepared for real interviews. Without the help and support from employers we wouldn't be able to give our students the in-depth learning experience that gets them ready for their future in education and the workplace.

Upon completion of the Prince’s Trust Achieve Programme, our students will have the skills and confidence to progress onto the next step of their journey. Whether it’s progressing onto another full-time vocational course at the college, or moving onto a full-time or part-time job. Our course gives students the skills they need to pursue their goals.
