Bobby's journey into the digital realm began at the age of 16 when he left school to pursue a level 3 qualification in IT. This passion led him to Teesside University, where he earned a BSc(Hons) in Computer Studies and an MSc in Multi-Media Applications.

Reflecting on his field, Bobby notes, "The  rapidly evolving digital sector demands that we stay current with the latest technology and trends."

Bobby’s teaching career started through supply work, where he discovered a love for education. Remarkably, he completed his Graduate Teacher Programme at the same school he once attended as a student.

In addition to his teaching success, Bobby has thrived as an entrepreneur, having run a successful business in Newcastle.

Outside of work, Bobby is a devoted football fan and lifelong supporter of Newcastle United. When he's not cheering on the Magpies, he enjoys taking his children to their football games on weekends.

As Stockton Riverside College's new Curriculum Manager for Digital, Bobby is enthusiastic about the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. He is particularly excited about leveraging cutting-edge tools such as AI to revolutionize the student learning experience. Joining a talented and technically proficient team, Bobby is eager to contribute to the ongoing development of an innovative and future-focused digital curriculum.
