If you’re planning a holiday abroad this summer, you may be one of the lucky passengers who will be looked after by our former aviation student, Kelcie. After completing two years at Stockton Riverside College, the now 18-year-old, has secured her dream job working as cabin crew for Ryanair!

The former North Shore Academy student always had an interest in aviation, so when it became time to decide where to further her education, Kelcie expressed how, “Stockton Riverside College always seemed the better option.”  She said: “It has amazing facilities, and the tutors had excellent knowledge and experience, which was transferable to my own career.”

Like many of our students here at the college, Kelcie was presented with a range of opportunities whilst completing her level 3 diploma. “I enjoyed all of the training we received, especially the training with British Airways, Teesside Airport and SecuriCare,” she said when reflecting on her time here at Stockton.

With fond memories come great recommendations, and our former aviation student was full of admiration. “No matter your career interest, the college has perfect facilities and tutors to help you succeed. Kelcie added: “The aviation course was a perfect way for me to gain extra knowledge and set me up for my future.”

Most proud of her accomplishment in securing her role as cabin crew, Kelcie now hopes to have a long career within the aviation industry. She’s certainly proved that dreams can be achieved at a young age through ambition, hard work and determination.

Well done, Kelcie.
