Reset a password

Here’s a useful guide on how to reset or change your password from home.

  • Click the ‘Reset your password’ link below.
  • You will then be asked to enter your user ID which is your college email address.

For example
SRC and Bede: 01234567@stockton.ac.uk or src\01234567
Redcar: 01234567@cleveland.ac.uk or src\01234567.
NETA: 01234567@neta.ac.uk or src\01234567.

You can then choose between being sent a text message or receiving a phone call to give you a code which you can input to allow you to change your password.

When setting your password to something new make sure you are not using your name or date of birth. You should use at least one uppercase, lowercase, numeric and a special character. Use at least 12 characters and don’t use a password you have already used previously for your college account.

Change your password

If you know your old password but it has expired after the 1 year period then you can change it to something new. Here’s a video to help you get back on track.

  • Click the link below and enter your college email address into the popup.

For example
SRC and Bede: 01234567@stockton.ac.uk or src\01234567
Redcar: 01234567@cleveland.ac.uk or src\01234567.
NETA: 01234567@neta.ac.uk or src\01234567.
