This unit is designed to support learners to acquire knowledge about managing and administering medications within a specific setting. Ideally those wanting to become a medication champion or lead within their setting to ensure safe practice is adhered to in line with current legislation and guidance.

What will I learn

• Medicines Legislation and Guidance • Safe Practice for medication administration • Training and Development Requirements for Medicines Administration • Rights of the Individual

How will I learn

You will learn in a variety of ways including lectures, seminars, group activities, interactive learning supported by an experienced tutor team.

You can progress onto the next qualification, which is the Level 5 Management of Medication for Managers.

Additional Information

Assignment based tasks covering all unit criterial. Assignments will be graded on a pass or fail basis. This course fee is £300. You can pay in full or in two instalments for this course.
