Course overview
This qualification is designed for learners who want to develop an understanding of how to deliver effective customer service in health and social care settings. ‘Customers’ in this context refers to internal and external customers, including people who use services, their supporters, visitors, health professionals and providers of other services.
This qualification covers:
Preparing to Deliver Customer Service in Health and Social Care Settings.
Effective Communication for Health and Social Care.
Understand the Specific Needs of Customers Accessing Health and Social Care Services.
Teamwork in Health and Social Care Settings.
Course information
Assessment involves completion of relevant work booklets or online units which are completed as distance learning and submitted to the college.
Upon completion of the course, students can apply for other distance learning programmes or where appropriate use their newly acquired knowledge in practice.
- You must be at least 19 years old.
- You must have lived within England for a minimum of three years and/or have residency status.
- The course is free, but a £120 withdrawal or non-completion fee applies if you do not complete your course.
