Course overview
This qualification is designed for learners who wish to develop knowledge and understanding of how to improve their own personal exercise, health and nutrition. Learners will gain an understanding of the impact of diet, nutrition and exercise on their personal health. They will also learn about safe and appropriate exercise and the importance of personal motivation and setting goals and targets.
This qualification covers:
Understanding Health, Well-being and Exercise.
Understanding the Role of Nutrition in Exercise.
Plan and Prepare for Personal Exercise and Nutrition.
Course information
Assessment involves completion of online units which are completed as distance learning and submitted to the college.
Upon completion of the course, students can apply for other distance learning programmes or where appropriate use their newly acquired knowledge in practice.
- You must be at least 19 years old.
- You must have lived within England for a minimum of three years and/or have residency status.
- The course is free, but a £120 withdrawal or non-completion fee applies if you do not complete your course.
