Course overview

If you’re passionate about travel and eager to explore the endless possibilities of the aviation and tourism industry, our Level 2 course is the perfect starting point! You’ll gain insight into the industry’s dynamic sectors, and practical training in an array of settings, giving you a competitive edge in the job market.

All of our teaching staff have a wealth of up-to-date knowledge and experience in the industry and will guide you every step of the way. Our courses aren’t just about sitting in a classroom. You’ll have the opportunity to travel across the UK on educational visits, including to the likes of British Airways HQ and Teesside Airport.

You will study all aspects of this exciting industry including baggage processing, check in, dispatch, health and safety, aircraft marshalling and security.

We also organise many educational trips such as visits to British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and London Heathrow to name but a few.

<p>Four GCSEs at least graded 2-3 including maths and English</p><p>You may need to continue to study English and maths as part of your course. This will be discussed at interview.</p>

Course information

This Diploma is entirely coursework based. Assessments will vary from written reports, practical activities, using a wealth of resources including and aircraft mock up and check-in area, and some classroom-based assessments.

All students will be required to wear a uniform each day they are in college. This consists of a navy suit and white shirt/blouse. As well as a college approved scarf/tie. Full details will be available during the application process.
