Course overview
If you’re passionate about travel and eager to explore the endless possibilities of the aviation and tourism industry, our Level 1 course is the perfect starting point! You’ll gain insight into the industry’s dynamic sectors, and practical training in an array of settings, giving you a competitive edge in the job market.
All of our teaching staff have a wealth of up-to-date knowledge and experience in the industry and will guide you every step of the way. Our courses aren’t just about sitting in a classroom. You’ll have the opportunity to travel across the UK on educational visits, including to the likes of British Airways HQ and Teesside Airport.
You will study all aspects of this exciting industry including baggage processing, check in, dispatch, health and safety, aircraft marshalling and security.

Through practica assessmentsl as well as assignment-based reports.
You can progress onto the Level 2 Diploma in Aviation.
Four GCSE’s at grade 2-1, including English and/or maths or a relevant level 2 qualification**. You will require a successful interview and show a keen interest in the industry.
**If you do not already have an English and maths GCSE grade 4-9, you will continue to work towards this as part of your main programme of study.
