Course overview
This course will provide learners with the underpinning knowledge that is required by employees to work in a range of different environments in a business administration role. Learners will develop essential knowledge of how to carry out administrative tasks such as how to manage information and supporting events. They will also learn how to apply their knowledge in a variety of industries and job roles.
This qualification covers:
Principles of Providing Administrative Services.
Principles of Business Document Production and Information Management.
Understand Communication in a Business Environment.
Understand Employer Organisations.
Understand How to Develop Working Relationships with Colleagues.
Understand how to Carry Out Business Administrative Tasks.
Understand Customer Service.
Course information
Assessment involves completion of relevant work booklets or online units which are completed as distance learning and submitted to the college.
Upon completion of the course, students can apply for other distance learning programmes or where appropriate use their newly acquired knowledge in practice.
- You must be at least 19 years old.
- You must have lived in England for a minimum of three years and/or have residency status.
- The course is free, but a £120 withdrawal or non-completion fee applies if you do not complete your course.
