Creative Makeup for Fashion, Film and Theatre

Would you love to work in the creative makeup industry? Studying through our Academy of Performing and Technical Arts (APTA) department, you will not only develop the skills and knowledge needed to work in theatre, TV, film, and photography but also gain hands-on experience by working on projects and assignments that are linked to real theatre, film and fashion show productions!

You’ll take part in World Skills, national and regional competitions, have the chance to showcase your work on live models and collaborate with our film & TV and acting students on their live performances and film productions, including those at amazing local venues such as Stockton Globe and ARC. A favourite amongst students is the Halloween performance at Stockton Globe, where they design the makeup for characters required on stage using special effects techniques, helping the acting students bring their characters to life!
