Course overview
The Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Dance offers learners an opportunity to develop specific industry skills im Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Commercial, Tap and Lyrical.
You will take part in live performances, filmed dance works and learn choreographic principles alongside technique in a variety of dance styles, as well as develop academic skills through project based work.
Course information
You will be assessed through observation of practical sessions, live performances, research/process portfolios and presentations.
You can progress onto our FdA Dance or apply for a programme at another University, Drama School or Conservatoire.
Level 2 Diploma in Performance and Production or four GCSEs Grade 9-4 including Maths and/or English or a merit in a
relevant Level 2.
This course can be worth the equivalent of 3 A* at A level.
