Introduction

The Level 3 Certificate is a natural progression from the completion of the Level 2 certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care.

What will I learn

Level 3 is ideal if you are working in Adult Social Care, or have basic knowledge of the area, and are looking to build on your learning. Level 3 comprises nine mandatory units, with the key units including: Principles of safeguarding and protection in health and social care Understanding how to handle information in social care settings Principles of diversity, equality and inclusion in adult social care settings.

How will I learn

Students will attend the college for one full day per week. Students will learn through a variety of classroom-based activities, professional discussions and group work.
