What will I learn

You will develop the skills needed to work with babies and young children through a combination of theory and practical sessions. Covering subjects including development, safeguarding, health and safety and organising activities, you will understand how children develop and learn effective techniques for interacting with young children. You’ll also get the chance to apply what you have learnt on a work placement of 350 hours minimum in an early years setting.

How will I learn

The qualification is delivered through a range of both taught and practical sessions, enabling learners to obtain the skills required to work with young children. Blended learning approaches will be used with at least some content delivered online.
