Introduction

This qualification will provide learners with a detailed understanding of distressed behaviour in children, including assessments of behaviour and avoidance techniques. They will look at how different coexisting conditions can impact on distressed behaviours and will learn how to support children who experience these complex behaviours.

Awareness of Distressed Behaviour in Children Principles of Intervention when Working with Children Who Display Distressed Behaviour Distressed Behaviour and Mental Health in Children Distressed Behaviour and Learning Disabilities in Children Distressed Behaviour, Sensory Processing Conditions Issues and Autism Spectrum Conditions in Children Legislation and Guidance For an Individual Providing Support to Children Displaying Distressed Behaviour
