Introduction

This qualification will enable learners to increase their understanding of Technology Enabled Care (TEC) and how it can enable individuals to live independently and improve their quality of life. Learners will develop their knowledge of person-centred care in relation to TEC, legislation and safeguarding information and how to provide individuals with support in regards to independence, health and well-being.

What will I learn

This qualification covers: Introduction to Technology Enabled Care Understand a Person-Centred Approach to Technology Enabled Care Understand Roles and Responsibilities in Relation to Technology Enabled Care Introduction to Legislation, Safeguarding and Regulatory Requirements Relating to Technology Enabled Care

How will I learn

All learning materials will be provided to suit your requirements: fully online, fully paper-based or a combination of both.

Upon completion of the course, students can apply for other distance learning programmes or where appropriate use their newly acquired knowledge in practice.
