Introduction

This qualification will provide learners with an opportunity to develop an understanding of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) relevant to their current or future roles and will equip them with basic understanding of techniques for preventing and addressing ACEs in practice. The qualification focuses on the 0-8 age range.

This qualification covers: Exploring Childhood and Family Structures Introduction to Adverse Childhood Experiences Understand Strategies to Improve Outcomes for Children Affected by Adverse Childhood Experiences

Module text books are provided with all learning materials included for your directed study.

Upon completion of the course, students can apply for other distance learning programmes, use as APL for QCF qualifications where appropriate and use their newly acquired knowledge in practice.
