Introduction

This qualification will provide learners with additional knowledge when working within the health and social care sectors. Learners will gain specialist information regarding supporting individuals with personal care needs. Learners will study information related to personal hygiene, but also the consequences of poor personal care including risks to pressurised skin areas and sepsis.

What will I learn

This qualification covers: Understanding Person-Centred Care Understanding how to Support Personal Hygiene Understanding Pressure Area Care Understanding Foot Care for Individuals Understanding how to Support Individuals to Maintain Oral Health Understanding Sepsis
