Introduction

This course is aimed primarily at those working with elderly people within the health and social care sector. The course will enable learners to develop effective communication skills, support individual rights and learn how to keep elderly people safe and healthy. Ultimately, learners will understand how to care for elderly people to the highest standard and the best of their ability.

What's next

Upon completion of the course, students can apply for other distance learning programmes, use as APL for QCF qualifications where appropriate and use their newly acquired knowledge in practice.
