Course overview
The level 2 BTEC First in Business provides a platform for you to develop skills in the business sector. The qualification aims to give you an awareness of the benefits and drawbacks in Business and its impact on society.
You will gain a high quality, nationally-recognised qualification while developing your knowledge of this rapidly evolving industry.
You will learn about a wide range of subjects such as:

- Deliver Customer Service in a Business Environment
- Produce Business Documents in a Business Environment
- Communicate in a Business Environment

Course information
Eight internally assessed units
Progress to a relevant Level 3 course such as T-Level Management and Administration
A relevant Level 1 qualification or four GCSE grades at 3 or above.
If you don’t already have an English and maths GCSE grade 9-4/A*- C, you will continue to work towards this as part of your main program of study*.

Lessons will include a mixture of lectures, workshops, research, and practical activities. You will also get the chance to get some work experience.
