Course overview
This qualification will focus on the study of possible causes of violence in the workplace and how to reduce the risk of workplace violence and harassment. It will provide learners with an understanding of how organisational policies and procedures can contribute to a safe working environment and will also give an understanding of why workplace violence may occur and how the risk of workplace violence can be reduced.
This qualification covers:
Contribute to a Positive and Safe Working Environment.
Violence in the Workplace.
Understanding Aggression, Bullying and Harassment in the Workplace.
Understanding Equality, Diversity and Inclusion within the Workplace.
Course information
Assessment involves completion of relevant work booklets or online units which are completed as distance learning and submitted to the college.
Upon completion of the course, students can apply for other distance learning programmes or where appropriate use their newly acquired knowledge in practice.
- You must be at least 19 years old.
- You must have lived within England for a minimum of three years and/or have residency status.
- The course is free, but a £120 withdrawal or non-completion fee applies if you do not complete your course.
