Course overview
This course will enable learners to support individuals with specific learning difficulties effectively. This qualification aims to give learners knowledge of different specific learning difficulties, how they are diagnosed and how individuals can be supported.

Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties.
Understanding the Effects of Specific Learning Difficulties.
Understanding the Diagnosis of Specific Learning Difficulties.
Understanding Supporting Individuals with Specific Learning Difficulties.
Understanding the Context of Specific Learning Difficulties.
Course information
Assessment involves completion of relevant work booklets or online units which are completed as distance learning and submitted to the college.
Upon completion of the course, students can apply for other distance learning programmes or where appropriate use their newly acquired knowledge in practice.
- You must be at least 19 years old.
- You must have lived within England for a minimum of three years and/or have residency status.
- The course is free, but a £120 withdrawal or non-completion fee applies if you do not complete your course.
