Whether it’s your dream to travel the world as a holiday rep or you want to stay closer to home and work as a tourism officer, you will learn the skills you need to succeed to get your dream career off the ground. You’ll benefit from guidance and mentorship from employees and past students who work in the industry. Learners will study UK visitor attractions, sustainable and responsible tourism, the UK conference and event industry, tour guiding as well as resort reps, cruise, travel agency operations. Learners will also be given the opportunity to work with and volunteer for local tourist boards, assisting with events in the local area. This helps learners to gain work experience in local tourism, hospitality and event organisations.
