If English is not your first language, these courses will help you improve and develop your reading and writing skills. They will provide you with a solid foundation in communication for everyday life and academic studies.

What will I learn

• Grammar • Writing about people, places and things • Developing and increasing your vocabulary • Improving your spelling and punctuation • Writing using formal and formal language • Writing letters • Reading and completing different forms • Life in the UK

How will I learn

Class activities include working individually or in pairs and small groups. You will also use interactive games and computers.

What's next

You can progress from each level on successful achievement of your ESOL qualifications. You can also progress on to other courses in the college depending on your level of ESOL qualifications.

Additional Information

You will study for 6-7 hours a week and on various days (depending on your level).

You'll visit English beauty spots and areas of interest to learn about British history
