If you have a passion for the automotive industry, our Motor Vehicle courses will give you the practical skills that you need to find employment through training in our newly refurbished, motor vehicle workshop!
This qualification is pitched at level 2 and is aimed to prepare students for a 2-year T-level qualification on completion.
Course information
You will be assessed on practical skills and with theory exams.
To complete this course, you will need a grade 4 and above in maths and English, you must be prepared to work towards a 6 in maths as this is the minimum requirement for the T-level.
You may be able to partake in work experience opportunities during your studies. In previous years, this has helped students gain apprenticeships.
The college will provide boots and overalls, students will provide necessary classroom equipment.
This will be classroom and practical based, there will be elements from the T-level built into the course to prepare students.
