Level 3 Games Development and Animation

Course overview

This creative course provides a fantastic opportunity to learn how to create computer games in one of the fastest developing creative industries in the world. You will gain a solid foundation of the creative processes involved in 3D modelling, environment design, character design, animation, concept art, and games engines. You will learn how to take your ideas and turn them into a fully working video game.

The qualification you will obtain is: UAL Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology

This creative practical course covers a range of exciting units. Our projects focus on a variety of disciplines: games design, character animations, games engines, 3D modelling, 3D environments and much more.

This course will teach you the skills, techniques and creativity needed to be a part of producing games and animations. This course can be worth the equivalent of 3 A* at A level.

<p>A passion for creativity with a minimum of five GCSEs graded between 4 – 9, preferably including English and maths. At least one of which should be in a creative subject. Alternatively, an equivalent Level 2 qualification in a relevant creative subject.</p><p>Applicants should have a keen interest in drawing (by hand or digitally). You will be creating your own art work for animation and games design.</p>
