Level 3 Extended Diploma in Film & TV

Course overview

If you prefer to behind the camera instead of in front of it, a career in the film industry could be ideal for you. Whether you’re interested in short films, documentaries, music videos or full length features, our film production course will give you the skills you need to bring your ideas to life. We have excellent links with industry, local businesses and you’ll work within out student production company, UFilms.

You will gain a range of on-set experience including directing, camera techniques, film and video editing, screenwriting for film & television and production management. The course can lead to a range of careers including cinematography, directing, producing, screen writing, editing and many more on set roles. You will earn using industry standard cameras, sound equipment and post production software while carrying out a rage of production and assignment which are planned to be based on realistic workplace demands.

<p>A passion for all things Film and Television and a determination to succeed, Four GCSEs grade 4 or above, including English and/or maths.</p><p>You may need to study English or maths as part of your course. This will be discussed with you at interview.</p>
