This is an introduction to Motor Vehicle, you will develop knowledge, skills and behaviours to work on vehicle systems including engines, brakes, steering and tyres so that by the end of the course you will be able to service a vehicle and have gained health & safety and Engineering knowledge. You will need to be able to engage with physical activity at an appropriate level and be focussed on your own development and learning.
Course information
Assessment is carried out by observation of practical ability, completion of a portfolio of evidence and internal tests.
A keen interest in motor vehicle skills and a successful interview are essential.
If you don’t already have an English and maths GCSE grade 9-4/A*-C, you will continue to work towards this as part of your main program of study*.

The college provides a comprehensive support system which is best accessed on an individual basis.

Your time will be divided between practical and theory studies with further sessions in personal development and employability.
