Course overview
This course is designed for Motor Vehicle Technicians that need a licence to remove and refill air conditioning gas to vehicles.
You will complete a variety of tasks to become familiar with air conditioning systems and to prepare you for a final assessment.
Course information
You will complete a multiple-choice exam along with a practical assessment. This can take place at the college or your current workplace providing you have the correct equipment.
Provided you complete the self-study, the assessment should take no longer than two-hours.

On completion of this course you will receive certificates which you must have before you can start draining and refilling the air conditioning gas.
There are no requirements to have previous qualifications to complete this course but ideally you will be working in the motor industry.
You will need PPE that would be suitable to wear in a garage.

You will be sent learning resources prior to the practical assessment and theory exam. You can study this in your own time, however extra study at college can be arranged if required.
