There’s been plenty to smile about at SRC Bede Sixth Form today as students received their A level results.Among those to get what they need to secure their place at university was Jordan Blyth, of Norton.
The 19-year-old former North Shore student is off to Sunderland University to study Digital Broadcast Media after achieving A levels in Maths and Media Studies.
In his third year of study, the results add to the Computing and Music Technology qualifications he successfully completed last year.
“It’s been horrible waiting for results because I didn’t know how I had done,” said Jordan, who was tasked with completing the Media course in just one year.
“Now I am extremely happy. I got an offer from Sunderland University this morning.”
Enjoying his time as a student at SRC Bede, Jordan said: “It’s been brilliant, you can’t beat it. It’s friendly and the teachers are lovely.”
