There’s more success at SRC Bede Sixth Form where student James Harris has picked up a bunch of A*s.

The 18-year-old from Billingham got top results in maths, further maths, and chemistry.

He also picked up an A* in his extended project.

Now off to Oxford University James will study maths.

Admitting to feeling a few nerves, he said: “It gets to the point where you think I’ve just got to open the results as there’s nothing you can do.”

Fortunately for James the news couldn’t be better. Delighted with his string of A*s the former St Michael’s Catholic Academy student, said: “It feels pretty good.”
