This Christmas is a winner for a Stockton Riverside College Art student whose Christmas card entry came out on top.

Students from across the college have been designing their entries for our annual Christmas card competition, with Level 3 Art & Design student, Steph Featherstone, taking first prize.

The 17-year-old from Stockton said: “I based my card on a design by Kerby Rosanes, but I wanted to make it traditional as well.”

The former Ian Ramsey student continued: “It took me about two days to get it right.”

Steph won a £20 high street voucher and her card is now on sale in college.

She said: “I am going to give some cards to my friends and family, and I want to send some to my school teachers as well.”
