SRC Bede Sixth Form student Clare Wells has reason to celebrate after achieving an incredible 4 A grades in her AS levels (Biology, Psychology, History and English Literature).

Clare described waiting for the results as “horrible” but is now elated saying: “I feel amazing, I’m so proud of myself.”

The 17-year-old, originally from Berkshire, will continue her A levels next year with a view to applying to either Oxford or Durham Universities to study Biology.

Clare chose to study at SRC Bede Sixth Form after coming to the Explorer Days and finding that the College suited her. She said: “I really got on with the teachers and students.”

On her experience of Bede so far, Clare says: “It’s got such a great dynamic and atmosphere, the people are really friendly and it’s a great place to learn.”
