All the hard work has paid off for students at SRC Bede Sixth Form today.
Celebrations got underway at the College in Billingham as results revealed a 97% A level pass rate.
With the College achieving 100% success in 16 out of 24 subjects, and vocational results again proving outstanding, SRC Bede Sixth Form Director, Rick Wells, said: “Yet again, our students have produced some terrific results at all levels.
“These achievements reflect an incredible amount of hard work by students and teachers, plus a lot of support from parents.”
The College, which delivers a wide range of A level and vocational courses, prides itself on helping all of its students work towards their individual goals.
The College Director said: “This has been a great year group in so many ways and these achievements will provide the students with significant opportunities in the future, and we celebrate each and every individual performance.”
With 100% pass rates in subjects including English Language, English Literature, Physics, Sociology and Art, Mr Wells said: "This is always a remarkable achievement and we are incredibly proud of both our students and staff for all their hard work."
The number of students receiving Distinction and Distinction Stars, the highest possible grades in vocational subjects, (57%) also continues to rise.
With many students now moving on to study at their first choice universities, Mr Wells said: "We wish them all every success for their futures."
As for the College, the hard work doesn't stop there with AS results also looking strong, SRC Bede Sixth Form is looking towards further success in 2017.
