There’s few happier today than SRC Bede Sixth Form student Sharon Saji. She returned to college to re-sit her Biology A level.
Having previously just missed out on her university place to study medicine last year by a whisker, this year she was determined to achieve the A grade she needed.
Sharon was delighted to exceed her own expectations and secure an A*.
“This is more than I could have even hoped for, it just feels amazing,” she said.
She will now go to Plymouth University to study medicine.
It means a lot to her to go there as she says it was in Plymouth that her dad served in the Navy.
“It is such a beautiful place and my dad is going to be over the moon.”
In summer 2016 Sharon achieved A grades in chemistry and maths at SRC Bede.
