Shannon Tierney was celebrating today after receiving excellent results.

Shannon, who is 19 and from Hartburn in Stockton, received distinction, merit, merit in her Level 3 Childcare course.

“I am so pleased with my results,” she said.

Shannon is now staying at Stockton Riverside College to continue her studies on the foundation degree in Early Years.

Of her time at the College she said: “I have always wanted to study childcare and I have loved studying it here.”
