A Stockton Riverside College student is celebrating success after winning Student of the Month in Construction.
Motor Vehicle student, Sam Mansell, is this month’s winner and couldn’t be happier. He said: “I wasn’t expecting it; I am really pleased that I won. I try hard with my work and I love to help others in the class.”
Motor Vehicle lecturer, Ted Edwards, says he nominated Sam for the award due to the progression he has made. He said: “Sam started later than everyone else and made the effort to catch up with the work he had missed.”
He continued: “He is always pleasant and presentable. He works really hard and is actively seeking work experience.”
Sam, a former Northfield student, was awarded a certificate and a £10 high street voucher for his achievements.
