A future in film could be on the horizon for Ryan Fenby.

The 19-year-old from Stockton is off to study TV and Film at Teesside University after acing his course at Stockton Riverside College.

Ryan today picked up distinction star, distinction, distinction in Level 3 Creative Media Production (Film and Television).

“I wasn’t expecting that,” said Ryan. “Getting such good results has really helped my confidence.”

Hoping to one day become a film editor, Ryan said the course at Stockton Riverside College has given him the ideal grounding in the subject.

He said, given the freedom to develop your own ideas, in a very practical and hands-on study environment, has enabled him to build the skills to kick-start his future career.

“It is a very creative course,” he said. “The best part for me was actually making the films.”
