Musical Theatre student Brogan Gilchrist is celebrating after picking up a double Distinction Star.
The top mark comes at the end of her first year studying Performing Arts at Stockton Riverside College.
Looking forward to moving on to her second year, before hopefully going on to secure a place at stage school, the 17-year-old from Wingate said: "I am feeling very happy, I didn't expect to do that well."
Excited for all that is still to come, she added: "The course has been amazing and I love doing the shows. It gives you a taste of what a real professional show is like because, when it comes to the big shows, they go all out."
No stranger to taking a leading role, Brogan played Dorothy in Stockton Riverside College's Christmas show, The Wizard of Oz, and then went on to play the part of Iris in Fame this summer.
Preparations are now being put in place for the next Musical Theatre Christmas extravaganza, Peter Pan, which will take to the stage at Arc in Stockton.
