This week was employability skills week for Prince’s Trust students to help them with their interview skills.

The team were split into pairs to come up with a scenario to act out, the rest of the team then had to guess what this was and talk about their body language. Students come up with different scenarios, such as a divorced couple meeting up and seeing someone you haven’t seen in a while, so they could use different types of body language.

This taught students the importance of body language and how a simple conversation can be determined by how you act. This has given them valuable skills for the future for when they are going for interviews and when they gain employment.

Team leader, Craig, said: “They have all come so far. At the beginning of the course they wouldn’t have stood up in front of the whole class.”
