This vocational results day we caught up with Computer Games Design students Craig Harkins and Travis Harnden.

With one year down and one still to go the guys are looking forward to what second year has to bring.

"I chose the course because I like video games," said Craig. Little did he know of the vast range of career opportunities that exist in the industry.

Hoping to go on to work in the games sector, he said: "It is when you realise where it can take you that you really start to knuckle down."

Travis, explained that he joined the course after successfully completing a Prince's Trust course with the college.

He said, choosing a subject that he has a keen interest for has really helped him to achieve.

He added: "I grew up with video games so I liked the idea of making my own."
