Leanne is celebrating her A level success after receiving the grades she needs to get into her chosen university.

She achieved an A* in English literature, an A in English language and an A in classical civilisation.

She said: "I wanted to cry when I opened my results. I really didn't expect it."

Leanne is now going on to Newcastle University to study English literature and creative writing, and hopes to become a publisher or journalist once she has completed her degree.

Leanne's ultimate goal is to become a writer. Well done and good luck in the future.
