Jack McBride has a reason celebrate today after getting a B in Classical Civilisation, a B in English Language and a C in English Literature.

The 19 year old from Norton said: “I am absolutely over the moon with my results. I am buzzing.”

The former North Shore student chose to study at SRC Bede Sixth Form because it was the most suitable for him, he said: “It is definitely the best college in the area!”

He is now on his way to Northumbria University to study English Language as it is something he has always enjoyed.
