Hard work has certainly paid off for SRC Bede Sixth Form student, Lewis Mitchell.

The 18-year-old, from Stockton, was delighted to pick up an A* and two A grades in his A level Biology, Law and Chemistry.

Now off to study Microbiology at the University of Sheffield, he said: “It feels good to know I have got the grades. I put in a lot of work so it is good to see that the hard work paid off.”

Having loved his time at the College in Billingham, the former All Saints Academy student added: “Everyone is really nice here, and I’ve been doing the courses I want to do, so it makes everything really enjoyable.”
