George Bradley is delighted to have got the grades he needs to a secure a place at his first choice university.The 18-year-old from Norton will study history at York St John after getting an B in History, a B in Government and Politics and a D in Psychology.
“To be honest I had put exams to the back of my mind,” said the SRC Bede Sixth Form student. “The reality hit me last night.”
Fortunately George didn’t have long to wait. The nerves were quickly put to rest when George checked the UCAS Track website this morning to find his university place confirmed. After that the grades were a bonus.
“I feel so much calmer and more relaxed now,” said the former St Michael’s Catholic Academy student.
“Knowing that I’m now going to university is a bit scary but I’m looking forward to it.”
