Amber Paleschi has huge reason to celebrate. The 18 year old from Thornaby has secured a much coveted place at York University to study Midwifery.

Achieving Distinction * in Health and Social Care, A in Psychology and B in Biology, Amber, who has dreamt of being a midwife since school is thrilled saying “I don’t think it’s quite hit me yet”.

Amber chose to study at SRC Bede because of the good record of results, specifically in Biology knowing she wanted to be a midwife.

Speaking of her experience at college, Amber says she is so appreciative of all the support she has received from all of her tutors and our careers Advisor, Alice.
